90-Minute Pursuit in South Los Angeles

Norwalk CA, near 7 pm a police pursuit began chasing a red sedan that had been stolen. The vehicle when spotted took off and lead police on a chase that ended after an hour and 30 minutes, it traveled though the 105 and 110 freeways when it came to a stop in Florence. The chase was so extensive that California Highway patrol and The Los Angeles Police Department took turns going after the sedan.

Police confirmed via sky view that there were two people in the sedan a female and a male. After the suspects entered into the city of Walnut attempts to stop the vehicle were made when police set up a strip of spikes and made several maneuvers, though all efforts failed and the driver kept going. The driver finally came to a stop and the female passenger surrendered, as for the male, he initially fled from police but was later caught nearby with injuries. He was transported to a hospital and no further updates were given.
